Slingshot SL with Upgrades
Introduced as a 2015 model in 2014 the Slingshot is a celebration of Polaris being in business for 60 years. The Slingshot was designed to represent the future of on–road driving exhilaration with its awe inspiring 3 wheel roadster. It offers heart pounding acceleration with its 2.4L 4 cylinder engine that produces 173hp. With its balanced weight distribution, sport tuned double wishbone suspension, coil-over gas filled shocks and its sway bar it was designed to take corners at top speed. It also features a 5 speed manual transmission, power assisted steering and ABS brakes. The upgraded SL model features larger 18” forged aluminum wheels up front and a 20” wheel in the rear, a media console with a LCD screen, a back-up camera, Bluetooth integration and a 6 speaker audio system. This particular example has red pearl paint with a color coordinated waterproof interior. It currently has 12,145 miles and was last serviced at 12,042 miles. It has been nicely upgraded with a 1320 Performance header and exhaust package that sounds just plain nasty when you get into it. The 2-way front speakers were upgraded with 3-way PowerBass component speakers with custom kick panels to hold them, there was a set of 6.5” canister speakers added behind the headrests and a 4 channel amplifier was added so you can hear it at speed without a problem. It also has an added rear view mirror, a lead for a battery tender and an extremely loud air horn. There are over $3,000 worth of options on this Slingshot yet we have it priced below the KBB retail value.
